Approach while helping any operation - My experience and suggestion

Approach for any operation lacking financial funds

Few of my friends thought, it would be useful if i post the knowledge on hospitals and financial adjustments for operations i gained so far. Alright here are they -

Hospitals you can approach -

Most of the institutions take care of heart surgery - If any kid is suffering from heart problems, they can contact Sri Sathya Sai Hospitals for free treatment, Find the address and email below -

Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences
(A Unit of Sri Sathya Sai Medical Trust)
EPIP Area, Whitefield,
Bangalore-560 066
INDIA

Email: adminblr@sssihms.org.in
Tel: +91 80 28411500
Fax: +91 80 28411502

This hospital is always crowded and it is tough for you to get appointment, this free treatment requires lot of efforts. You may call them or you may email them with latest reports to get some information before you go. All they will say is to come there, but stress on availability because you cannot go all the way to bangalore and hear somethink like "It will take some time to get your turn". Now if you cannot get a bed at Sathya Sai, direct towards Narayana Hrudayalaya, here is the address -

Narayana Hrudayalaya,
No. 258/A,
Bommasandra Industrial Area,
Anekal Taluk,
Bangalore – 560 099.
Mail: hrudayalaya@sify.com or devishetty@hrudayalaya.com .

Narayana Hrudayalaya is one of the best hospitals in India and a kind hearted heart hospital too. All you need to do is carry a letter from your surpunch (head of the village in some authenticated letter pad) or from your office or any minimum thing you can get to convince them on your financial inability. You can certainly expect atleast 50% of discount from this hospital.

I am not sure about other hospitals, but you may try this trick any where (By trick, i hope i am not sending any wrong signals).

Sources of Money:

Many of these apply for people living in Andhra and very few may be general -

-> Bring your position to the notice of any news editor so that this information is published in some news paper, wait for 20 days to get some positive signs from donors. Sticking the notice at internet centers will also be a good option. If not funds, get some moral support and contacts who might help you in one or other way.

-> If you are a white card holder in Andhra, get arogya sree card with all the information. You can visit near by Govt hospital and ask them to refer to some good hospital and good doctor (if they know). Once they refer you to any hospital in Hyderabad (Not necessarily Hyderabad, opt it only if you have no choice at district head quarters), Try to get some reference in Hospital through the media reporter in your place or any other resource (this becomes very much necessary because its not easy to get treatment through arogyasree). If you don't get arogya sree in time, do not hesitate to get the attention of hospitals using your ration card. get a letter of authentication from MRO or Collector.

-> If you are not a white card holder, still you require money. Reach out CM camp office with a petition requesting some donation. Reach out opposition party office with a petition to fund them.

The efforts you put will never go waste in maximum cases. Put a comment here, if you need my help as well :-).

To all others, form a group in your community to collect some money when ever you come across any such cases in news papers. If you have a group of 10, you can collect Rs 1000 easily to donate. So when ever you come across such incident, spread it and try to gather some funds.

I will keep it updated with all latest information. Please put a comment, if you want me to add something.

E-governance fraud

I have some where seen it on a website, but now it is missing. It is about introduction of C1 India into Indian market with the help of PWC.

Notification was like NISG wanted a company with ISO certification. NISG has asked for a non-existent ISO certification to avoid other firms from bidding

Like wise, there are countless and i am stopping here..I wanted to show how corruption happens at corporate level..

E-Corruption is the shadow of E-governance

Recently i came across few forums and below are few examples on how we are made fools easily -

MOU between MS and NISG (National Institute of Smart Governance) -

Microsoft signs agreement on e-Governance with NISG
New Delhi, December 7,2005: Microsoft India-announced the signing of agreement with National Institute for Smart Government The agreement will aim at
accelerating the application of Information Technlogyin the area of e-Governance. Microsoft is supporting the Government of India’s National e-Governance
program by establishing an e-Governance Investment fund (”Investment Fund”) and e-Governance Innovation Centre (”Innovation Centre”)

NISG will be Program Manager for the Investment Fund and Innovation Centre.Microsoft and NISG will pursue the following objectives

Enabling research and solution frameworks for Governments in jointly identified areas
Create new class of applications and solutions that focus on optimizing the delivery of government services in identified areas
Create a framework and architecture to incorporate the use of information technology in the functioning of the various government departments Create a lab environment through an e-Governance
Innovation Centre in Delhi, for Government and their agencies to experiment with the new range of technologies that can be applied in e-Governance and
Conduct appropriate research and proof of concept for applying emerging technologies like Smart devices,RFID,Smart Cards in e-Governance Solutions.
Microsoft will also work with NISG to help adopt and implement interoperability solutions in e-Governance applications and will also share its knowledge and
experience in working with government across the world on e-Governance projects

Microsoft has agreed to deploy a sum in Indian Rupees equivalent to USD Two Million (”Grant”) spread over three years in the Investment Fund as a commitment to
the Government of India’s e-Governance initiatives.
The funds shall be deployed pursuant to Project Plans approved by a steering commitee.

Mr. J Satyanarayan, CEO of NISG said “I am confident that this joint endeavor between NISG and Microsoft will result in ideas, concepts and tools that will be
fundamental significance to the e-Government scenario in the country”

“At Microsoft we are committed to leveraging our international experience to develop innovative and unique solutions that are relevant and customized for the benefit of Indian citizen” added Mr. Ravi Venkatesan, Chairman, Microsoft India.

Another example in coming post...

Food for Blood

Ain't it bad? Can you imagine a person donating blood almost every day (May not be everyday practically, but pretty much continuous until he is in a position to donate)? It happens near few private hospitals in hyderabad (may be in other cities as well). I witnessed it near CARE, Nampally. It is something which cannot be avoided very easily, but the life span of blood donor is at toss.

There is a verbal say "You cannot donate blood if you have donated blood in last 3 months", but there is no means to identify it. Money can turn anything into business, incident is a fair example.

India's nightmare over

Its all done. Terrorists attacked financial capital of India. Civilians were attacked, police were attacked, commandos were attacked. No men spared. 26th November 2008 is to be book marked in Indian history.

Few emotional words from reporters/citizens/Foreigners and heroic incidents - i always remember these words

These are the words of Patricia and her boy friend. These two people are US citizens on a tourist visit in India for a month. These two US citizens appeal to every one not to panic and not to let terrorists win. They appreciated the efforts of Indian NSG.

They reiterated, We are going to stay India and our tour will continue. we will not let the terrorists win

Greek Multi Millionaire Andreas was one of the victim of this terror strike. One of the general manager of Taj Hotel jumped in to save Andreas. Unfortunately, one bullet went straight into Andreas. Both general manager and Andreas became victims.

Kudos to this great Indian who tried to save the life of a greek national

Pranoy (NDTV) - Advani announced that he will be joining PM in visiting Mumbai. But blame game started and they could not stay unite at least for a single day even in this kinda situation.

Barkha (NDTV) - Security people and Police whom we regularly blame were the heroes for the day. Lot of people SMSed me about ineffective governance of Vilas Rao Deshmukh, where is Raj Thackrey when lot of South and North Indians from security group fought a war against terrorists to save mumbai and its glory. Narendra Modi already announced 1 Crore to victims and started blaming PM for not being emotional.

Rajdeep Sardesai says " 2 Days back while probing Malegaon blasts, Hemant Karkare was called villain. Now today, Modi Calls him Hero. "
After an answer from Seshadri Chary to take back Rajdeeps words and BJP never called Hemant a villain and it is media which hyped it.

Rajdeep replied " I got an SMS from Hemant Karkare the very morning he died which says like this - I am sick and tired of being a police officer in such a country "

Harsha Bhogle - Today i saw in some news channel, Few politicians were discussing about Bandh on December 1st. Is that Bandh a necessary thing? Is this discussion relevant?

Few more politicians visited, are they leading NSG's? are they battling against terrorists? Are n't they nuisance in the middle?

When asked about International image of India - We have enjoyed the glory of India all these days, now it happened we have to bare this. We have to accept if England is willing to leave just because their families woule be waiting for them.

Kudo's to Taj staff and NSG's for their heroic acts. May not be a surprise, no politician got emotional. I am afraid, We (Indians) will be alienated going forward, let us face it.
